I did an experiment in the class yesterday. We had a case, we drew the conceptual model, then the students were asked to tell a story about it. The story must be one paragraph, with not more than five sentences.

And what do you know, different sets of brain cells have their own stories.

My first comment would be to make a scaled sketch. It’s very useful to show the geometry of the system. But don’t worry, I usually forget this rule in the first draft.
